Frederick Janes was the  husband  of Edith D. Janes, of 67, Foxhill Road, Reading.  He died on 3rd September 1918, aged 37.  Frederick  is buried in a registered war grave number 5022 and this is marked with a CWGC war pattern  headstone.

From the 1911 census it is believed that he worked at Huntley and Palmers biscuit factory and had three children. He was born in Maidenhead.

 Walter Francis Wise, was the son of Mrs L. L. Wise, of 96, Elgar Road, Reading.   He died on the 1st July 1919, in Tidworth Military Hospital after a brief but most painful illness, aged 32.  He had served 3 years in Salonika. His is a registered war grave with a CWGC war pattern headstone, number 6981.
